Cod is a white, very lean fish. Those fish generally described as having a “fishy” flavor are oily fish such as salmon or mackerel.
Direction for Use
Take package out of the freezer 6 to 7 hours before serving and leave it in a bowl in the refrigerator.
For a last-minute forced thaw, nick a corner of the package with a knife, and set the fish (package and all) in a bowl beneath cold running water.
Do not let the water sit / do not use hot water. Rotate the package occasionally during the thawing process
Do not refreeze once defrosted.
